    Peanut Butter Bread

    Ingredients:
2 cups all purpose flour (I used mostly pastry wheat flour)
    1 cup sugar (I used 1/3 white, 2/3 brown)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 cup peanut butter
(My favorite kind of peanut butter to eat is Skippy Natural)
    1 egg
    1-1/4 cups milk
3/4 cup mini, semi-sweet chocolate chips
(I used regular-sized chips, and only put them in half my loaves.)

In a large mixing bowl combine flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.  In another bowl beat together eggs, and milk.

Cut peanut butter into the flour mixture with two knives or a pastry cutter.  The mixture should resemble coarse meal. (Just like with biscuits.)
Mix wet ingredients into dry ingredients, stirring just until mixed.  Stir in chocolate chips.

Pour batter into greased bread pan.  If you have a large pan this batch will make 1 loaf, for smaller pans, do two loaves.  I made a 3x batch and it went into 4 smallish pans.
Bake at 325°F for 45-50 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.  Cool before cutting.
The bread is a little crumbly, especially if its cut when warm!
