Meatball Subs

These are an easy, delicious meal using leftover meatballs and spaghetti sauce.

1 loaf French bread
12-18 meatballs, heated
1 cup mozzarella cheese
spaghetti sauce

Cut the french bread into three or four pieces, then slice each piece in half so you have a bottom and a top.

Place all the bread pieces face down on a cookie sheet.  Bake at 375° F. for 3-4 minutes, or until lightly toasted.

Flip bread pieces over.  On each bottom piece place enough meatballs to cover the bread.  (We find the subs easier to eat if we slice the meatballs in half then

place them one layer thick on the bread.)

Top meatballs with sauce and cheese, as desired.
Place tops on subs.  

Bake at 375° F. for 4-5, or until cheese is melted.
